We hope, that the test runs will be made at the end of December this year and we can receive the first oil. We are very hope to it. However, the planned oil production at the field will begin in 2017,” Dosayev told a governmental hour in Majilis, the lower house of Kazakhstan’s parliament.

The Kashagan field is located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea and has been plagued by several delays.
