Petroleum company ELINOIL inaugurated its newly-built ship Zefiros on Monday. She is under Greek flag.
Zefiros is the company’s second ship which is routed to supply the company’s petrol stations needs in the islands.
The first one, “Apiliotis” has largely been covering the Aegean islands needs since March 2006 when it was initially deployed.
Zefiros has a transport capacity of 2,200 cubic meters and it was built in Croatia, under Lloyd’s supervision.
Both Zefiros and Apiliotis are the first tankers in the world which can do their loadings from oil tracks on board.
