Italian energy giant ENI SpA said late Monday that it lifted a force majeure on 60,000 barrels a day of oil flow at a Nigerian offshore facility over the weekend and it expects all of that output to be back within a day or so.
A spokesman for the company said it lifted the force majeure at the Tebidaba flow station over the weekend after having shut in production at the Okono/Okpoho oilfields for two weeks following an attack by militants.
"We lifted the force majeure over the weekend and expect full production back within the next day or so," the spokesman said.
