Turkey's Zorlu Enerji plans to participate in the upcoming round of natural gas distribution tenders, a senior company executive said.
Turkey's state pipeline group Botaş sold 16 lots of distribution networks last year to buyers including Royal Dutch Shell and Bosphorus Gas.
Turkey is selling off its domestic distribution network after a new law laid down that Botaş had to cut its ownership of gas contracts to below 20 percent of national consumption by the end of 2009.
