Ukraine's Odessa Refinery is expected to restart operations in January-March 2008, the Prime-Tass news agency reported Ukraine's economy minister, Anatoly Kinakh, as telling reporters Friday.
Russian oil major Lukoil has a 98.99% stake in the refinery.
In October, Lukoil finished the first stage of an upgrade at the refinery and started test production. The company said it planned to complete the second stage sometime in January-March 2008.
The upgrade, which started more than two years ago, is expected to allow the refinery to produce higher-quality products, including high-octane gasoline and jet fuel.
In October, Russian oil supplies to the Odessa Refinery amounted to 51,500 tonnes. Of the total, 12,200 tonnes were refined.
