LONDON (Dow Jones)--ELECTRA Deutschland, the German power producing subsidiary of Polish energy company PGE Group, has signed up to trade carbon credits on the European Climate Exchange, the exchange said in a statement Thursday.
"ELECTRA Deutschland, a major player in the German power market, became the latest Member of ICE Futures Europe to be given access to trade in ECX CFI contracts on 26 November 2007," ECX said.
ECX is the most liquid exchange for carbon trading under the E.U. emissions trading scheme.
