Romanian oil company Petrom completed full maintenance at its Petrobrazi refinery on Nov. 11, the company said Friday.
"The maintenance period at Petrobrazi ended completely on
November 11," a Petrom spokeswoman said in an e-mailed statement. She
didn't specify when the maintenance had started, although the company
had previously said the plant would shut for turnaround in the fourth
quarter.
The Petrobrazi refinery has a capacity of 4.5 million metric
tons a year. Petrom plans to increase the facility's output to 6
million metric tons of crude oil a year and reduce its energy
consumption. It plans to invest EUR1 billion in the Petrobrazi refinery
by 2010.
