LONDON (Dow Jones)--Russian gas monopoly OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) said Wednesday that it has increased gas supply to Turkey and Greece, in response to requests made at the end of December.

Gas supplies to Turkey and Greece suffered as a result of a gas supply row between Turkmenistan and Iran.

In a statement Gazprom said its gas supplies to Turkey increased by 8 million cubic meters a day to 38 million cubic meters.

Gas supplies to Greece increased by 1.5 million cubic meters a day, Gazprom said. It didn't say what the total supply to Greece was.

Gas supplies to Iran from Turkmenistan were reduced by half on Dec. 29 and suspended Dec. 30, a spokesman for the National Iranian Gas Co. said Jan. 2.
