Russian state-owned energy
producers OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) and OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS) could work together
to develop the Sakhalin-3 energy project, the Kommersant daily reported Monday,
citing Rosneft Chief Executive Sergei Bogdanchikov.
Rosneft is currently developing one of Sakhalin-3's four blocks with China's
Sinopec. Work hasn't yet begun on the other three, which are thought to contain
600 million tons of oil.
