Russian oil producer OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN.RS) Friday said it had acquired a license for the rest of the Zimneye field in the oil-rich Khanty-Mansi region, which should add more than 32,000 barrels a day in production.
The field would increase the state-run company's daily average oil output by 4.9% on last year.
Zimneye lies on the border of the Tyumen and Khanty-Mansi regions and Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS), already had a license for the Tyumen part of the field.
The company estimates Zimneye reserves at 30 million tons, or 219.9 million barrels.
