Russia's state gas company OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) expects its 2008 export revenue to reach $64 billion, up 43% from last year, the Prime-Tass news agency reported Friday, citing the company's Chief Executive Alexei Miller.
In 2007, Gazprom's export sales, including those to the former Soviet Union countries, totaled $44.8 billion.
Earlier this month, the company said export revenues would reach $71.6 billion this year and that the average export price for 2008 will be around $402 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Gazprom is the world's biggest producer of natural gas and supplies a quarter of Europe's gas consumption.
