London-listed Russian oil producer Sibir Energy PLC (SBE.LN) said Monday its net profit for the full year 2007 tripled to $277.8 million on higher output at the Salym oil field in Siberia.
Average output for the year rose 62% to 63,100 barrels a day, generating $468.8 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, Ebitda.
Revenue rose to $1.77 billion up from $1.05 billion in 2006, while earnings per share nearly tripled to $0.825, Sibir Energy said.
The figures were calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards.
