A German company has made a 100 million euro ($156.9 million) deal to build three liquefied natural gas plants in Iran, the state news agency IRNA reported Wednesday.
Steiner GmbH has received an order to build the liquefied gas installations, with final assembling of the plants to be done in southern Iran, IRNA cited the Germany daily Siegener Zeitung newspaper as saying.
Each liquefied gas plant will have a production capacity of 10,000 barrels, IRNA reported.
Steiner, which is based in the Germany city of Siegen, is also building chemical and petrochemical plants in a number of other countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, China and Russia, according to IRNA.
