German utility RWE AG's (RWE.XE) 1,167 megawatt nuclear plant Biblis A has reduced its capacity by 103 MW, according to information published on the company's Web site.

The capacity reduction is due to cooling water problems, in light of the recent heat, the company added on its Web site.

The problem is expected to be solved between Aug. 4 and Aug. 6, it added.
