Crude oil supplies from Russia to Poland aren't being disrupted, Polish oil pipeline operator PERN SA, oil refiners PKN Orlen SA (PKN.WA) and Grupa Lotos SA (LTS.WA) said Friday. "All deliveries are according to schedule, there are no signals showing that deliveries to Polish and German refiners might be reduced," a spokesman for the pipeline operator PERN SA, Roman Goralski told Dow Jones Newswires.

PKN Orlen's chief executive Wojciech Heydel also said that "he hasn't heard anything but rumors and that PKN hasn't received any information suggesting the deliveries might be disrupted.

Marcin Zachowicz, a spokesman for Lotos, added that if anything happens, the refiner is ready to receive crude oil by ship.

The Economy Ministry's representatives were not immediately available to comment.

Friday, a U.K. newspaper reported that the Kremlin had ordered Russian companies to prepare for an oil supply cut to Western Europe in the coming days. The supply restrictions would come into force if the European Union introduced economic sanctions for Russia's formal recognition earlier this week of the independence of Georgia's two breakaway regions, a report in The Telegraph said.
