Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization, or SOMO, has invited local and foreign companies to bid for a four-month term contract to lift 40,000 metric tons of fuel oil from its Baiji refinery, the Oil Ministry's Web site says.
SOMO didn't set a deadline for bids, but said the duration of each contract would be four months starting Sept. 1.
It said the fuel oil should be exported by land via Jordan, Syria or Iran.
