Italy's Saipem SpA (SPM.MI) said Thursday it signed three new contracts for underwater drilling for a total value of $830 million.
The drilling will take place in West Africa and Egypt.
The first contract was from Eni SpA (E), Saipem's parent, and will start in the third quarter of 2011 and run for three years.
The second contract was from Addax Petroleum (AXC.T) for drilling off the cost of Nigeria, and will last for two years.
The third contract was from Burullus Gas Company, and will start from the first quarter of 2010.
