Polish gas company Polskie Gornictwo Haftowe i Gazownictwo, or PGNiG (PGN.WA), expects its natural gas sales will exceeed 18 billion cubic meters annually by 2013, daily newspaper Parkiet reports, citing company forecasts.
In 2008, PGNiG plans to sell 14.5 billion cubic meters of gas, up 4.3% from 2007.
According to the paper, PGNiG expects that sales volumes will rise chiefly thanks to increasing demand from industrial customers and the power sector which will start building gas-fired electricity generators.
