Kazakhstan's state oil and gas company JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration and Production (RDGZ.KZ) said Thursday it produced 8.91 million metric tons of crude oil in the first nine months of this year, a year-on-year rise of 8.0%.
KazMunaiGas, or KMG, said in a statement that the rise in production was primarily due to the acquisition of 50% stakes in JV Kazgermunai LLP and CCEL Karazhanbasmunai last year.
