Iraqi Finance Minister Bayan Jabor said Thursday that he expects Iraq's 2009 budget to be reduced by between $10 billion and $15 billion because of the falling price of oil.
Iraqi Finance Minister Bayan Jabor said Thursday that he expects Iraq 's 2009 budget to be reduced by between $10 billion and $15 billion because of the falling price of oil.

"I have estimated next year's budget to be reduced by $10 billion to $15 billion because of the decreasing oil price," he said on the sidelines of an International Monetary Fund meeting in Jordan .

Iraq 's original estimate for its 2009 budget was $79 billion, based on an oil price of $80 a barrel.
