Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow will arrive South Korea on Wednesday for a three-day state visit aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation in the energy and resources sector, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing a statement from the president's office.
President Lee Myung-bak will meet Berdimuhamedow in Seoul Thursday to discuss ways to expand two-way relations in the energy sector and encourage South Korean companies' participation in Turkmenistan's infrastructure expansion, the statement said, according to Yonhap.
Discussions will also include petroleum and gas exploration projects in the Caspian Sea, Yonhap reported.
