Eni SpA (E) said it signed energy deals Tuesday that are a "step forward in strategic energy cooperation between Italy and Russia," including a plan for Gazprom (GAZP.RS) to buy a stake in Gazprom Neft from Eni that was announced earlier Tuesday.
The statement didn't disclose any financial details of the Gazprom-Eni deal, nor of the other deals.
Eni said it also signed accords with Inter RAO UES (ROSN.RS), Rosneft (ROSN.RS), Transneft (TRNFP.RS) and Stroytansgas (STGZ.RS).
