Russian Min Sees '09 Natural Gas Output At 580BCM

Russia's Economic Development Ministry expects the country's natural gas output to amount to 580 billion cubic meters in 2009, according to the draft federal budget for 2010-2012 approved by the Russian government Wednesday.

Russia 's Economic Development Ministry expects the country's natural gas output to amount to 580 billion cubic meters in 2009, according to the draft federal budget for 2010-2012 approved by the Russian government Wednesday.

Russia's natural gas output is expected to amount to between 605 and 623 bcm in 2010; between 614 and 634 bcm in 2011; and between 627 and 649 bcm in 2012, the ministry said.

The country's exports of natural gas are expected to amount to 161.9 bcm in 2009; between 179 and 190.3 bcm in 2010; between 185 and 193.8 bcm in 2011; and between 194 and 203.2 bcm in 2012.

Russia's natural gas output rose 1.7% on the year to 664.999 bcm in 2008.
