A venture headed by Metka SA, Greece’s biggest power plant builder, won a contract to build a combined-cycle power unit for Public Power Corp SA, Greece’s biggest electricity company, in Megalopoli, in the Peloponnese, according to an e-mailed statement yesterday from Athens-based PPC.
