OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN.RS), the oil arm of Russia's OAO Gazprom, signed an agreement with National Iranian Oil Company for cooperation in Iran.
The agreement sets out the companies' interest in pursuing work on the Azar and Shangule fields in Iran, Gazprom Neft said in a statement Wednesday.
Russian oil producer OAO Lukoil has already been active in the Azar and Shangule fields.
