Russia's natural gas monopoly OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) and Ukraine's state gas company Naftogaz have agreed to postpone the payment for Russia's gas delivery for December to Jan. 11, 2010 from Jan. 7, Gazprom said Tuesday.
Naftogaz pays for the delivery monthly on the seventh day of the following month.
The postponement is due to the public holidays in both countries.
The agreement was reached at a meeting of the companies' chief executive officers, Gazprom said.
