A bomb blast has struck part of the Iraq-Turkey export pipeline near the restive city of Mosul in northern Iraq, cutting off supplies and the resumption of the flow could take few days, an Iraqi oil official said Thursday.
A bomb blast has struck part of the Iraq-Turkey export pipeline near the restive city of Mosul in northern Iraq , cutting off supplies and the resumption of the flow could take few days, an Iraqi oil official said Thursday.

"The export pipeline is damaged and oil flow to the Turkish export terminal [at] Ceyhan has been halted since morning today," the official told Dow Jones Newswires.

Iraq usually exports around 450,000 barrels a day to European buyers from the pipeline which links the Kirkuk oil fields with the Mediterranean port of Ceyhan .
