President Obama's decision to halt ongoing drilling by 33 deepwater exploratory rigs in the Gulf of Mexico deepwaters could cut US oil production by 160,000 barrels of oil per day in 2011, says Adam Sieminski, energy strategist at Deutsche Bank, in a note to clients.
