German utility RWE AG (RWE.XE) said Monday it welcomes Germany's decision on nuclear power but expects a considerable and "unexpectedly high" financial burden for its nuclear power plants.

RWE's plants in Gundremmingen and Lingen Ems will now remain online 14 years
longer, and both blocks of the Biblis plant will be in operation for eight
extra years.
