energy bill popular enough to pass is unlikely to have impact on demand for
renewable generation, FBR Capital says. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's
trying to revive requirement that certain percentage of electricity in US comes
from wind, solar and other renewable sources. FBR says bill likely to
disappoint with federal renewable standard representing little increase over
state programs before 2020. Bill also could include nuclear as renewable energy
source to appease Southern lawmakers.
