The Russia-China crude pipeline starts trial operations Monday, state-run Xinhua agency reported, citing the General Administration of Customs of China.

Russia will start pumping crude oil into the pipeline in the evening, it said.

China Customs said
China plans to import 250,000 tons of crude oil from Russia in November and 300,000 tons in December.

China will start to get 15 million tons of crude oil a year from Russia from January next year, Xinhua said.

The 300,000 barrels-a-day crude oil pipeline, which stretches from Skovorodino in eastern
Siberia to Daqing in northeastern China , is a spur of a pipeline that Russia is building to its Pacific coast
