China's biogas production is expected to exceed 13 billion cubic meters
this year, with the number of biogas users likely to reach 155 million by the
end of the year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
China
will
have more than 4,000 biogas producers and service providers by the year-end,
with a combined value of output of more than CNY26 billion, it said in an online
statement Wednesday.
Production of biogas residue, which is used as fertilizer, will approach 400
million metric tons this year, with fertility equivalent to 4.7 million tons of
ammonium sulphate, 3.7 million tons of calcium superphosphate and 2.6 million
tons of potassium chloride, it said.
The
statement didn't provide comparative figures.
