Iraq Nov Oil Revenues At $4.618B, Year's Largest-Oil Ministry

Sales from Iraqi crude oil exports in November totaled $4.618 billion, the highest monthly revenues registered this year, the Iraqi Oil Ministry said in a statement Thursday.

Sales from Iraqi crude oil exports in November totaled $4.618 billion, the highest monthly revenues registered this year, the Iraqi Oil Ministry said in a statement Thursday.

It said the State Oil Marketing Organization, or SOMO, sold its crude in November at an average monthly price of $80.59 a barrel, compared with $77.10 a barrel in the previous month.

Iraq 's total oil revenues during the first 11 months of 2010 reached $46.990 billion. Last year Iraq 's oil revenues reached $41.329 billion, compared with $60 billion in 2008.

The ministry said
Iraq exported an average of 1.910 million barrels a day in November, slightly down from the 1.912 million barrels a day figure given to Dow Jones Newswires earlier this month by SOMO head Falah Alamri.

Some 1.533 million barrels a day were exported from southern oil fields via
Basra terminals, while the remaining 377,000 barrels a day were exported from northern oil fields.
