The United Nations atomic watchdog said Friday it would hold a special meeting of its 35-member board of governors Monday, where its chief Yukiya Amano would brief member states on his trip to quake-hit Japan.
The United Nations atomic watchdog said Friday it would hold a special meeting of its 35-member board of governors Monday, where its chief Yukiya Amano would brief member states on his trip to quake-hit Japan.

The International Atomic Energy Agency's "board of governors will convene a meeting at the agency's headquarters starting at 11:00 am [1000 GMT] on Monday, March 21," it said a statement.

"Director General Yukiya Amano will brief member states on the nuclear emergency in
Japan following his scheduled trip to the country from March 17-19."
