Oil futures rise after airstrikes hit Libya, and Barclays sees recent events keeping oil production in the country shuttered. "The airstrikes can clearly result in a significant deterioration of the already unstable situation," firm says. "Libya will be out of the oil market for a protracted period of time."
Oil futures rise after airstrikes hit Libya , and Barclays sees recent events keeping oil production in the country shuttered. "The airstrikes can clearly result in a significant deterioration of the already unstable situation," firm says. " Libya will be out of the oil market for a protracted period of time." 
Barclays says global demand isn't slowing, and until it does, problems in Libya , Bahrain and other oil-rich regions will keep oil prices volatile.
