Italy's Enel Green Power SpA (EGPW.MI) said Monday it finalized with Assicurazioni Generali SpA (G.MI) and agricultural company Terrae an agreement to promote the use of biomass to generate electricity.
Italy 's Enel Green Power SpA (EGPW.MI) said Monday it finalized with Assicurazioni Generali SpA (G.MI) and agricultural company Terrae an agreement to promote the use of biomass to generate electricity.

In a statement, Enel Green Power said it and Generali each bought a 15% stake in Terrae, which is tied to the beet and sugar industry.

The National Association of Beet Growers, or ANB, owns the remaining shares in Terrae.
