"Capturing carbon dioxide and storing it in geological formations (CCS) is an interim technology that will contribute to addressing the impacts of climate change. It consists of capturing carbon dioxide from industrial plants, its transportation to storage and pumping it into suitable underground geological formation for permanent preservation," according to a ministry report that was published together with the draft bill, Sofia Echo reports.
