French
renewables giant EDF Energies Nouvelles has commissioned the 24MW Trikorfo wind
farm in
Greece
. The project, in central
Greece, was developed by EEN Hellas, EDF-EN’s local subsidiary. It consists of
eight 3MW Vestas wind turbines.
The Trikorfo project is the twelfth wind farm to be
completed by EDF-EN in Greece, and it now has 278MW of gross installed capacity
in the country.
Last week EDF-EN also commissioned its 30MW
Seyitali wind farm in Turkey.
That project comprises 15, 2MW Enercon turbines and was
developed and built by Polat Enerji, a 50/50 subsidiary of EDF-EN and local
developer Adnan Polat Group.
EDF-EN now has a gross installed capacity of 158MW in Turkey
(59MW net) and a further 206MW under construction.
