Investments into development of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, Shah Deniz (Phase I) fields, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and South Caucasus pipeline projects have totaled $31.6bn since they were first launched.
This was announced in a report titled “Sustainable development of BP in Azerbaijan in 2010.”
According to the report, $18.67bn have been invested in Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, Shah Deniz (Phase I) fields, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and South Caucasus pipeline projects over the last five year only. Capital investments amounted to $14.39bn while maintenance investments were $4.28bn.
