Three Turkish companies are the front runners to secure a gas contract with Russia’s Gazprom for the West Pipeline, according to Reuters sources reports Hurriyet Daily.
The Aksa Group, Bosphorus Gas and the Akfel Group are on the verge of signing for the 6 billion cubic meter pipeline, the agency said.
“I think there will be a decision by [today]. Negotiations in Moscow are continuing and although there is nothing concrete at the moment, these three company names are in the lead,” said an undisclosed Reuters source.
