In line with the contract, the volume of natural gas export to Turkey from Shah Deniz gas condensate field is 6.6bn cubic meters.

Taner Yildiz told in November of the last yea that the prices on Azerbaijani gas for Turkey will remain changeless until 2018 within the framework of the first stage of the Shah Deniz gas field development, noting that the prices coordinated with Azerbaijan are most profitable in the region.

On 25 October of 2011, the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey signed the agreement of intentions ‘On gas sale and purchase’.
