Greek Energy Regulator Approves the Entry-Exit Tariffs for Access to the National Natural Gas System

Further to the issuance by RAE of the Tariff Regulation in July 2012, RAE announces the approval of the tariffs for access to the National Natural Gas System (Transmission System and LNG Terminal) set by the TSO, in accordance with the provisions of article 88 of Law 4001/2011.

Further to the issuance by RAE of the Tariff Regulation in July 2012, RAE announces the approval of the tariffs for access to the National Natural Gas System (Transmission System and LNG Terminal) set by the TSO, in accordance with the provisions of article 88 of Law 4001/2011.

The new tariffs were calculated by the  TSO  in accordance with the aforementioned Tariff Regulation and constitute the first entry-exit tariffs in the Greek gas market. RAE estimates that the new TPA tariffs are approximately 15% lower than the tariffs currently in force.

In  accordance  with  the  provisions  of  the  Gas  Directive  and  of the article 88 of Law 4001/2011 the said  tariffs  will  be  applicable  starting  February  1st, 2013.
