43
MW of new solar parks and 18,5 MW of
roof mounted pv systems were added in the Greek electricity grid in October,
according to the Operator’s latest data. All other RES remained constant except
for co-production which increased its presence by 1 MW.

newest additions, the total sum of RES installed in the Greek interconnected

On Friday,
the Greek Association for Photovoltaics (SEF) asked the government to increase
the share for photovoltaics in the goal for 2020 from 2 GW to 6 GW. Local solar
businesses are upset because the government decided to impose a tax on their
earnings in order to prevent the accumulation of debt in the Operator’s
finances.
