President
of Turkey Abdulla Gul ratified an intergovernmental agreement on implementation
of the Transanatolian gas pipeline project (TANAP).
According to Turkish Resmi Gazete, Gul ratified the
Azerbaijani-Turkish agreement on Transanatolian gas pipeline system and
appendices, including an agreement between the government of Turkey and The
Trans Anatolian Gas Pipeline Company B.V.
Gul also ratified a number of other intergovernmental agreements with
Azerbaijan, particularly, on mutual protection and encouragement of
investments, cooperation in the sphere of retraining and support of state
employees.
