After the
installation of 300 MW in January, photovoltaic installed capacity in
Greece
increased by another 224 MW in
February, according to the official data by the operator, LAGIE.
More
specifically, 211 MW of p/v were installed in February, along with 12,5 MW of
rooftop p/v, 29 MW of wind energy and 0,56 MW of biomass and biogas plants.
The total
installed capacity of renewables in
Greece
’s interconnected system (excluding
the islands) reached 3792 MW, with 1495 MW of wind, 1944 of p/v, 218 small
hydro, 45 biomass and 90 MW of cogeneration.
In February,
the electricity generation of renewables was as follows: Wind 275 MWh, small
hydro 90 MWh, biomass 16 MWh, cogeneration 20 MWh, p/v 95 MWh, rooftop p/v 21
MWh and another 68 MWh were produced in the non connected islands.
