The difference in the price of ICE Brent and Nymex WTI, the world's two benchmark oil contracts, moved below $10 a barrel Thursday for the first time since January 2012.
The difference in the price of ICE Brent and Nymex WTI, the world's two benchmark oil contracts, moved below $10 a barrel Thursday for the first time since January 2012.

The difference--known as the Brent-WTI spread--briefly dropped to $9.99 a barrel, having hit a year-high of $23.44 as recently as February.
