's Enel Green Power said on Monday it has connected to the grid its
first two solar parks in
Romania
with a combined installed capacity of around 19
megawatts (WM).
The Berceni 1 and Berceni 2 solar parks, located in the southern Prahova
county, can generate approximately 29 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year in
total, cutting CO2 emissions by 13,300 tonnes on an annual basis, Enel Green
Power said in a statement.
The Berceni 1 plant, with an installed capacity of about 10 MW, will be
producing around 15 million kWh of power per year, while Berceni 2 is expected
to produce more than 14 million kWh per year.
