There is strong evidence of significant hydrocarbon deposits in Western Greece, Epirus and the Ionian Sea, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said, as quoted by the Athens News Agency-Macedonian Press Agency.
Emerging from a meeting at the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Ministry, Samaras spoke about revenues of up to 150 billion euros in the next 25-30 years from the exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, the news agency said.
