Zarubej Neft will Invest 30 million euros in Bosnia Herzegovinas Oil Refinery

Russia's Zarubej Neft will invest new 30 million euros to improve working conditions at Bosnia Herzegovina's Republic of Srpska Brod oil refinery, was said at meeting between the President of RS Milorad Dodik and the Director of Zarubej Neft Sergey Kudryashov reports FIPA.

A“Oil Refinery” j.s.c. with f.l. Brod was founded in 1892 by Hungarian company for chemical industry called Danica. The capacity of the refinery was 25000 tones per year. After the war remedying of war damage was undertaken as well as revitalization of the “Oil Refinery” of Brod. Having been sold to the Russian company Zarubezneft the reconstruction was finished and the old processing line was set into operation with the capacity of 1.2 mil tones per year. 

Complex for processing of waste water was modernized. The station for biological purification of waste waters was set into operation. In 2009 reconstruction of facilities on the new processing line started. In April 2009 processing plant for production of bitumen was set into operation. In August 2009 section for purification of gases and production of pure sulphur was launched in order to increase environment protection.
