Turkish hydropower developer EnerjiSA Enerji Uretim A.S. seeks bids to complete construction and hydro-mechanical works of the 62-MW Dogancay hydroelectric project on Turkey's Dogancay Stream. Documents may be obtained until March 25 with bids due April 7.

An EnerjiSA affiliate took bids in 2011 for construction of the Dogancay weir and hydro project in Adana Province. Last year, units of the Turkish developer took bids to build and equip 409.4-MW Pervari Dam on the Botan River and awarded a contract to Alstom to equip the 292-MW Alpaslan 2 project on the Murat River.EnerjiSA, a joint venture of Turkish conglomerate Sabanci Holding and Austrian utility Verbund, now seeks bids to complete construction and hydro-mechanical works of Dogancay. The project includes a concrete gravity weir with controlled spillway; a 7-kilometer, 3.5-meter-diameter power tunnel; intake structure; underground powerhouse; surge tank; and 200-meter vertical, 500-meter horizontal penstocks.
